Indonesia’s Must-Try Hotelstravelandmunch | August 8, 2016 | 12 | Uncategorized
I’m very fortunate to be part of the South East Asian Bloggers to tour around Indonesia’s best tourist spot last July 22nd until August 3rd. We had 9 flights, countless bus rides and even crossed the ocean just to see beautiful places around Indonesia. And part of our journey is to stay in a very relaxing hotel. I give you 8 best hotel (so far) around Indonesia.
8. Swiss Belinn Aiport Hotel (Jakarta)
One of the nearest budget hotel near CGK for 1,500php / 32USD per night without breakfast. With double bed, bedside table and headrest lamp, sitting area, complete toiletries and coffee & tea maker, LED tv and cabinet with city view outside.
7. Ketapang Indah Hotel Resort (Banyuwangi)
Around 1,700 to 1,800 PHP / 30USD per night with breakfast. With twin bed and a great garden view of the resort will welcome you every morning. They have a pool area, a beach view, and a huge garden that guests with family and kids will truly enjoy their stay here. Buffet breakfast choices are ok with unlimited strong coffee.
6. Golden Tulip (Lombok)
For 2.500 – 3,000 PHP / 64 USD, you get to experience a 4-star hotel in Lombok. With queen size bed, a sitting area and a nice bathroom will surely give you the comfort of your stay. With a great mountain view is a plus here. They also serve good choices of buffet breakfast.
5. Santika Hotel (Banyuwangi)
For only 1,500 PHP / 32 USD you will have a King Room that can accommodate 3 persons (2 adults, 1 child). Equipped with Air conditioning, Direct dial phone, Laundry service, Safety box, Parking, Tea and coffee maker, Work desk, Slippers, and Non-smoking rooms available also here. They also serve good choices of buffet dinner.
4. Aston Hotel (Makassar)
One of my favorite hotel in Indonesia, for 4,700 PHP / 100 USD per night, you have a Superior room that offers High-Speed Internet access, a minibar, LED TV with an international channel (where I watched HBO for 2 hours), Coffee and Tea facilities, and complete bathroom amenities.
3. Villa Ombak (Gili Trawangan)
Spent 2 nights in a Deluxe Family Bungalow alone, lol.
With only 8 rooms like this in the resort and what I love about my room is the open bathroom which at first it’s very uncomfortable to sit on the toilet and take a shower but I totally enjoyed the openness of my bathroom after a while. I love the daybed which can be converted into a bed for a family with kids staying.
2. Swiss-Belhotel Airport (Tangerang)
For 3,600 to 4,000 / 85 USD per night with breakfast. Sadly, I only had few hours to stay in this 4-star airport hotel because of our delayed flight from Manila to Jakarta. However, the hotel did not disappoint me as this is the 1st hotel I stayed in Indonesia. I love and I miss the king size bed and cold AC. Equipped with coffee and tea maker, LED TV, complete toiletries. and a great room service (as per Filipino bloggers who check-in a day before we came).
1. Sheraton Hotel (Bandung)
My most favorite and my top 1 of all the 8 hotels I stayed during my 12-days tour in Indonesia. I was able to enjoy my 2 nights stay here in Sheraton and I will definitely be back here, they serve good choices of breakfast and dinner buffet with international cuisines, pool area and a great place to shoot your favorite Instagram pose, lol. I stayed in a Deluxe Room for 4,500 PHP / 96 USD per night with free buffet breakfast.
I had the best 12-day tour in Indonesia and was able to relax with these lovely hotels with excellent service to offer all their guests. Till next time Indonesia!
